Step 5: The low & high points of the arches are covered with squares of netting tied to the twisting bands, as it was done in the back roof area. Note that the bands have been raised to mid-distance between the low & high points on the framework to enhance the curvature.

Step 5: 4-89 Step 5: 5-99

Step 6: The frontal bend is covered with overlapping straight lengths of netting, as shown. A narrow inner strip at the base holds the netting in place; a narrow outer strip locks it in.

Step 6: 5-101

Step 7: The remaining open areas are covered with bands long enough to cross over the underlying strips, the bracing softening the curves of the membrane.

Step 7: 5-90 Step 7: 5-94

The forms developed in stretch nylon fabric are now replicated in plastic netting. Hardly any tension was applied to the bands--their arrangement produced the desired curvature--the membrane creating no significant load concentration on points of the framework. Any readily available netting or mesh is apt to behave in like manner.
