Kasuba Works
WOODSTOCK,  Whiz Bang Quick City #2,  1972. The event was organized by Works, a group of architects, designers, and educators. The idea was to build a shelter in 24 hours and live in it for 10 days. Kasuba, teaching at the time at The School of Visual Arts in New York City, participated with 14 of her students. The structure they built was made of one stretch fabric panel 12’x 40’ long. Students lived in it for the duration of the event.
